No Credit Crunch at the Stock Exchange

The 23rd annual CAFM Explorer User Group took place at the prestigious Stock Exchange venue in the heart of the city of London on Tuesday 30th September 2008 amidst one of the most nervous days in London's economic history.

Over 120 delegates gathered for new Chairman, Keith Surey's opening speech. The day unfolded with numerous workshops covering Help Desk and PPM, Room Booking, Web and Mobile Deployment, Space Management and Reporting, as well as topical issues such as Environmental Impact and Health and Safety. Key note speaker Kathryn Gilbertson spoke on the personal Health and Safety responsibilities involving employees, which was followed by how the use of CAFM Explorer would alleviate risk.

Withers LLP won the prestigious "Best Progress" award presented by FMx Managing Director Tony Leppard who commented "Its no wonder the Withers team scooped the reward for the second time in four years as their use of CAFM Explorer for cost control has saved them a huge £208,000 in their last financial year. That must make CAFM Explorer the perfect product for controlling costs in these difficult times".

The CAFM Explorer User Group is an independent organisation created to network Facility Managers and improve their use of the industry standard CAFM Explorer database technology.
